How do I submit a Domain Transfer request?
Transferring your registrations to Web Monger Domains
is easy as long as the registration is current and the contact
information
is up to date. Log into your account and submit a request.
We have simplified the transfer process by providing detailed
step-by-step instructions to guide you.
The “registration transfer” process:
- Log into your account at https://webmonger.nameservices.net/domainregistration/login.jsp
- Click
on "Transfer Domain"
- Remove "Enter Domain" and
enter the domain name you wish to transfer
- Enter the credit
card information and submit.
Ensure billing information is correct (name and address).
Press submit only once and allow transaction to either
go through or time out.
- Verify the information is correct
and submit the registration request.
Please print out for your records.
- You must click on the “I
have verified box” before
you press submit only once.
You will be forwarded to a “Thank You” page
and a registration confirmation email will be sent to the
organization
contact.
- In 24 hours, confirmation code will be sent to
the current Administrative Contact of the domain name.
This code is
needed to confirm/authorize the transfer request.
- Once
you receive the code, repeat #s 1 and 2
- Choose “Confirm
Domain Transfer”
- From the drop down box, select the
domain name that you have requested.
- Enter your confirmation
code that has been sent to you
For .us, .biz, .info, and .org domains, you will also need
to enter the “auth info" (this can only be obtained
from the current registrar).
- Once the request is confirmed/authorized,
the registry informs both the losing and gaining registrar
via email
the registration
has been flagged for transfer. The losing registrar then
has 5 days to accept or reject the transfer. If the losing
registrar does not reply within the 5 days, the transfer
is automatically approved.
Note that registration that expire within those 5 days,
may be declined after it has expired.
- When the transfer
is complete, you will receive an email confirming the
completion of the transfer. Either:
The transfer is successful and an additional year is
added to the current registration.
The transfer request is declined and removed from our
database.
